Brough Genealogy Databases

Global Brough Database
The Global Brough Database is produced by the BFO Research Committee and contains Brough families and ancestries located in Australia, the British Isles (England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales), Canada, Germany, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United States. This database lists thousands of deceased individuals--most of whom were born before the early 1900's. Some of the individuals listed in this database may be listed more than once because they resided in more than one country. Currently the Brough Family Organization maintains a large confidential database of deceased and living Brough-related individuals.

Brough One Name Study
The Brough One Name Study database is produced by Douglas W. Brough of Scotland and includes thousands of deceased Brough-related individuals of the United Kingdom and elsewhere throughout the world. Information about this database can be found on the Guild of One Name Studies website and on Douglas W. Brough's ONS website. The genealogies contained in this database are also available on Ancestry.com. (Note: This database does not list the descendants of Richard Brough and Ellen Parrott of Staffordshire, England, as these individuals appear in the "Global Brough Database" of the Brough Family Organization.)
